Nueva Ecija police nab four wanted persons, two drug suspects in separate ops

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Four wanted individuals and two drug suspects were apprehended in separate operations conducted from October 14 to 15 as part of the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office’s (NEPPO) intensified campaign against criminality.
In San Antonio, a 34-year-old man was caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Francisco after selling a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer. Authorities seized four additional sachets of shabu and ₱500 in marked money, with a total estimated weight of 3.95 grams and a street value of ₱26,860.
In Guimba, joint police forces arrested a 42-year-old man in Barangay Bantug during another buy-bust operation. Three sachets of shabu and ₱500 in marked money were confiscated. The seized drugs weighed approximately 2.10 grams, valued at ₱14,280.
Police also apprehended four individuals wanted for various offenses. In Aliaga, a 28-year-old construction worker was arrested for simple theft (bail: ₱6,000), while a 36-year-old man in Cabanatuan City was nabbed for another theft case (bail: ₱20,000).
Additionally, a 74-year-old man from Aliaga was arrested in San Jose City for acts of lasciviousness (bail: ₱80,000), and a 43-year-old man was arrested in Talavera for violating the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act (bail: ₱2,000).
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director PBGen Rogelio Peñones Jr. commended NEPPO for the successful operations.
“The series of arrests demonstrates the effectiveness of our intensified campaign against criminality in the province. We will continue to strengthen our efforts to ensure public safety and bring all law offenders to justice,” Peñones said.
