Globe Telecom Inc. has activated new cell sites and upgraded facilities across Lipa City and several municipalities in Batangas to meet the rising demand for connectivity in the province.
The company said over the weekend that it completed network builds in Lipa and neighboring towns, including Agoncillo, Alitagtag, Balete, Calatagan, Laurel, Mabini, San Juan, San Pascual, Taal and Talisay.
New sites in Barangays Tambo, particularly in Bloomfields Subdivision, and Bulacnin are also boosting coverage for more homes and businesses.
“These builds are part of our ongoing efforts to bring reliable and accessible connectivity to more communities.
Batangas is home to both traditional industries and modern enterprises, and we want to ensure residents and businesses here are supported with the digital tools they need to succeed,” said Joel Agustin, SVP and Head of Network Planning and Engineering, Globe Group.
Digital access grows businesses
The network helps enhance access to mobile banking, e-commerce, and logistics platforms for farmers and cooperatives, while students and teachers benefit from more consistent connections for online learning.
Families, on the other hand, can stay connected and access services such as healthcare, fintech, and e-government platforms.
For Lipa’s business sector, including BPO centers and IT parks, stronger connectivity supports seamless cloud-based operations serving global clients.
