More than P400,000 worth of shabu was seized from three suspects in a drug buy-bust operation in Rodriguez, Rizal early Monday morning.
Nabbed in the operation were alias Tati, alias Taga, and alias Yvonne–all residents of Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal.
The suspects were apprehended in an operation conducted by operatives of the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station's drug enforcement team at Southville 8B, Barangay San Isidro, at about 12:15 a.m.
Confiscated from them were sevenpieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 70 grams, with a standard drug price of P476,000; P1,000 buy-bust money; P800 recovered cash money; a pouch, identification cards, and one cigarette box.
All three suspects are now detained at the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station custodial facility while facing charges for violation with Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
