Laus Auto Group taps industry veteran Froilan Dytianquin as managing director

Laus Auto Group has appointed industry veteran Froilan G. Dytianquin as its new Managing Director, strengthening its leadership bench as it eyes further expansion across Luzon and deeper partnerships with top automotive brands.

The announcement was made Tuesday, 6 August 2025, by Laus Group of Companies Chairman and CEO Lisset Laus Velasco, who cited Dytianquin’s extensive track record as key to driving the group’s next phase of growth.

“We are confident that Froilan’s breadth of experience and consistent track record in delivering results make him the ideal leader to steer Laus Auto Group into its next phase,” Velasco said. “His deep knowledge of the local industry and strong dealer relationships will only strengthen the trust we’ve built over the years.”

Dytianquin brings over 30 years of experience in the Philippine automotive sector, having held senior roles in sales, marketing, network development, and public relations — primarily from the manufacturer and distributor side. He has led national operations, launched market entry strategies, and worked closely with both international principals and local dealer groups.

In his new role, he will oversee the group’s automotive strategy, brand operations, and dealer engagement across its expanding portfolio of dealerships.

“It’s an honor to join Laus Auto Group — a trusted name in Northern and Central Luzon automotive excellence,” Dytianquin said. “I look forward to building on its legacy by driving customer-focused strategies, deepening dealer collaboration, and accelerating sustainable growth anchored on experience, trust, and innovation.”

Dytianquin is widely respected in the industry for his strategic planning, dealer management, and media relations expertise. His recent success includes the reintroduction of a Chinese automotive brand in the country, where he helped drive the brand into the industry’s top 10 in just two years. He previously spent nearly three decades with another major car brand, rising to the rank of First Vice President for Sales and Marketing, and contributing to 11 consecutive years of sales growth.

His appointment comes as Laus Auto Group strengthens its ties with existing and new automotive partners, while investing in future-ready retail experiences in Metro Manila and beyond.
