The Eastern Police District (EPD) apprehended Metro Manila's most wanted fugitive accused of statutory rape in an operation conducted in San Juan City on Monday morning.
The accused was identified only by the alias Jonjon, 52, married, a resident of Barangay Kabayanan, San Juan City.
He was arrested in a joint operation conducted by the San Juan City Police Station's Warrant and Subpoena Section and Station Intelligence Branch based on the arrest warrant issued by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 162, with no bail recommended.
Based on the investigation, it came out that the suspect was previously arrested on 2017 for alleged physical assault against a jeepney driver.
The accused is now detained at the San Juan City Police Station custodial facility.
