Following its launch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Philippine government brought its Serbisyo Caravan to Dubai.
According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), Filipinos were able to avail themselves of services from more than 10 government agencies that participated in the caravan.
The government caravan was held at Exhibition Hall 8 of the Dubai World Trade Center, near the Dubai Metro Red Line.
Filipinos who came were able to transact with the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund (Home Development Mutual Fund), and the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), as well as receive legal assistance from the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).
The Philippine Consulate General also offered its services to Filipinos in need. Meanwhile, the Filipino Social Club deployed volunteers from its member organizations to extend assistance to the Serbisyo Caravan.
Later this month, the Serbisyo Caravan will return to Saudi Arabia to offer its one-stop platform to Filipinos in Jeddah on 8 August and in Al Khobar on 15 August.
