More than P2 million worth of suspected shabu was seized from three suspects in a drug buy-bust operation in Tanay, Rizal on Sunday night.
The suspects–identified only by the alias Bachicha, alias Gimo, and alias Dagul–were arrested in the buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Tanay Municipal Police Station's drug enforcement team along Manila East Road, Barangay Tandang Kutyo, in this town, at about 8:55 p.m.
Confiscated from the suspects were three pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and three pieces of knot-tied transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 350 grams with a standard drug price of P2,380,000.
Also seized from the suspects were three pieces of one-thousand peso bill with used as buy-bust money; seven pieces of one-thousand peso bill used as boodle money; ten pieces of one-hundred peso bill as recovered money; a cellular phone; and a black motorcycle.
The suspects are now detained at the Tanay Municipal Police Station custodial facility, while facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
