What began as a series of career events across the country is now shaping up to be one of SM Supermalls’ most impactful nationwide programs.

As of the first half of 2025, SM’s Job Fair program has already reached over 180,000 Filipinos, providing accessible employment opportunities in partnership with both private companies and government agencies. More than 300 job fairs have been organized across the SM mall network since early last year, resulting in over 24,000 on-the-spot hires.

Held in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and other key partners, the job fairs coincide with national milestones such as Labor Day and Kalayaan Day. These events offered a diverse lineup of positions from retail, food and beverage, logistics, construction, banking, manufacturing, and even overseas employment.

What sets this year apart is the addition of the Job Fair + Skills Hub, a new initiative designed with TESDA to offer job seekers free consultations and training options. This integration allows applicants to not only explore vacancies but also identify courses that match their goals, increasing their chances of landing better jobs in a competitive market.

SM also extended its reach into other essential sectors. Through partnerships with the Department of Health, job fairs were held specifically for healthcare professionals, helping strengthen the country’s public health system by linking medical workers with urgent vacancies.

Incorporating this holistic approach, SM is proving that job fairs can do more than just fill positions. They can build careers, boost livelihoods, and bring real change to communities.

This July, more Filipinos are expected to benefit from SM Supermalls’ upcoming job fair events happening across the country.

The schedule includes SM City Trece Martires on 11 July; SM City Daet and the PMAP Job Fair at Skydome, SM City North EDSA on 22 to 23 July; SM City Sta. Rosa on 23 July; SM City Caloocan on 24 July; and both SM City Urdaneta Central and SM City Trece Martires again on 25 July.
