City of San Fernando, Pampanga – To ensure proper disposal and management of waste in the province, the Provincial Government distributed 29 mini dump trucks to various towns and cities on Monday.
The turnover ceremony was held at the Capitol, led by Governor Lilia Pineda.
According to Pineda, the 29 mini dump trucks aim to boost the capacity for collecting and transporting solid waste, especially in far-flung areas of Pampanga.
Pineda was joined by Acting Vice Governor Kaye Naguit, Macabebe Mayor Bobong Flores, Floridablanca Mayor Michael Galang, Arayat Mayor Jeffrey Luriz, and Guagua Vice Mayor Jun Lim.
Barangay chairmen from Lubao, Floridablanca, Guagua, Magalang, Sta. Ana, Masantol, Minalin, Macabebe, Apalit, Arayat, and Candaba were also present during the distribution.
“Pinopondohan ng Kapitolyo ang mga barangay at para po sa inyo ito. Pangalagaan ninyo ang mga dump truck na ipinagkatiwala sa inyo para sa koleksyon ng basura,” Governor Pineda reminded the beneficiaries.
The initiative was carried out in coordination with PG-ENRO Engr. Arthur Punsalan, GSO Head Francis Maslog, and other Capitol officials. Pineda said the distribution reflects the Provincial Government’s commitment to making Pampanga cleaner and greener.
