Singer-songwriter and actor Ice Seguerra took a moment of deep reflection as he penned an emotional love letter for his late parents, both of whom have now passed on. In a touching social media post, Ice shared the quiet pain of waking up each day without them—alongside the deep gratitude of having been raised by two extraordinary individuals.

“Medyo nakakapanibago yung paggising sa araw-araw na alam kong wala na kayo,” Ice wrote. “Pero blessed pa rin ako kasi nakasama ko kayo nang matagal.”

In his tribute, Ice lovingly recalled the unique qualities of both his mother and father—traits that shaped the artist and person he is today.

“Kay Daddy ko namana ang pagiging komedyante at hilig sa pagkanta. Siya ang ‘Videoke King.’ Kabisado lahat ng numero,” he shared with fondness. “Si Mama ko naman ang visionary. Sa murang edad, pinagaral ako ng pagkanta, pagsasayaw—sinigurado niyang mahahasa ang mga talentong pinagkaloob sa akin.”

“I was blessed with amazing parents,” he continued. “And I will make sure na sa kahit anong gagawin ko, I will always make them proud.”
