Police arrested two individuals listed as the most wanted persons in the regional level in separate operations in Antipolo City on Thursday night.
The first suspect, a 25-year-old networking agent known as alias Leo, was caught in Barangay San Isidro, Antipolo City at around 4:40 PM.
Operatives from the Antipolo Component City Police Station's tracker team arrested him by virtue of an arrest warrant for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
At about 6:40 PM, in Barangay San Roque, also in this city, a 50-year-old construction worker, identified only by the alias Folly, was also arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest.
The operation was conducted by the Regional Intelligence Division 4A–RIT Rizal, in cooperation with the warrant section of the Angono Municipal Police Station.
Alias Folly is also facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued by the Binangonan Regional Trial Court Branch 68, with no bail recommended.
The accused is temporarily detained at the custodial facility of Angono Municipal Police Station while preparing for the formal filing of charges at court.
