Staying true to its mission of uplifting communities, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continues to deliver vital support that saves lives and improves daily living.

Barangay Cabugao in Ragay, Camarines Sur, recently received rescue equipment such as oxygen tanks, helmets, ropes, life jackets, radios, search lights, trauma bags, and stretchers. Corporate Planning Department OIC-Manager Andrew Limjoco led the turnover on 1 July 2025, with Barangay Secretary Christian Paul Parra accepting the donation for Barangay Chairwoman Melinda Camacho.

Residents of Cuenca, Batangas, also benefited as PCSO handed over wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, and a nebulizer to help persons with disabilities and those with mobility needs. Assistant General Manager for the Charity Sector Arnel Casas turned over the items on 30 June 2025, with Administrative Staff Angielo Vicencio accepting them for Mayor Alexander Magpantay.

To help improve healthcare delivery in Oriental Mindoro, PCSO provided Bongabong with 36 wheelchairs and 30 nebulizers, while the Second District received 50 wheelchairs, 30 nebulizers, and 30 blood pressure monitors. Executive Assistant John Mark Forcado and Board Member Judy Ann Servando received the donations during a ceremony in Mandaluyong City.

“These tools provided by PCSO do not only ease the burden of our people, they also help save lives. This means a lot to us who live in far-flung areas because, through PCSO, we are reached and given attention. Our people truly feel the care of our government,” Servando said.

Through these continued efforts, PCSO proves that its helping hand remains within reach of every Filipino in need.
