First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos’ attendance at the initial applicant screening of The Grant 2025 at the Salcedo Auctions in Makati City last Monday showed her active support for the local fashion industry.

Apart from Mrs. Marcos, foreign diplomats attended the occasion, namely, Brunei Ambassador Megawati binti Dato Paduka Haji Manan, German Ambassador Andreas Pfaffernoschke, Hungarian Ambassador Titanilla Toth, Israeli Ambassador Ilan Fluss, Malaysian Ambassador Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, and Panama Ambassador Eduardo Antonio Young Virzi.

“Honored to support Fashion Aid Philippines as they open doors for our young designers from Baguio, Cebu, Bukidnon and beyond,” the First Lady said in an Instagram post on Friday.

“By giving them a platform to share their creativity and dreams, Fashion Aid is helping shape a future where Filipino talent shines on every stage. Excited to see these visions come to life and to continue championing Filipino craftsmanship and design,” she added.

The Grant by Fashion Aid Philippines aims to discover and elevate Filipino creatives in fashion, accessories, and living through competition.

Fashion Aid Philippines is a duly registered non-profit organization which aims to promote the cultural, social and economic consciousness of the public and to assist the new generation of Filipino fashion designers and its applied arts.
