One hundred farmers from Manaoag, Pangasinan completed their 14-week training under the SM Foundation's Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan Farming Program during graduation ceremonies held at SM City Urdaneta on 1 July 2025.

The KSK equipped participants with modern farming techniques and business skills designed to boost their potential by enhancing their high-value crop yields and increasing their income potential.

The program aims to address critical gaps in agricultural knowledge by providing farmers with access to modern farming methods, crop management techniques, and market linkage opportunities.

SM Foundation’s program continues the advocacy of SM founder Henry Sy Sr., who believed in empowering host communities through education and skills development. Sy Sr. understood that investing in farmers' capabilities helps in strengthening food security while providing livelihoods for Filipino families.

Over 30,000 farmers have successfully graduated from the program, with many now thriving as seasonal suppliers for the SM Group, local markets, and as sellers at the SM Weekend Market. The program is conducted with various social good partners.
