Best place to stay:
Of all the beautiful resorts that are sprouting in Mactan, Shangri-La Mactan and The Reef remain to be my favorites. For Airbnb: Sileo is a modern Filipino home the perfect getaway perched up in the mountains for a quick change of scenery and temperature. Another one is Balay Pandan which is a two-hour drive to San Remigio where you can enjoy your own private beach house that provides a chef, a delicious menu to choose from and activities for families. For Boutique: Soul Sierra — Beautiful garden, cafe and soul camp a hidden gem in the mountains of Cebu. The Wellnest — A private, serene escape just 20 minutes from the heart of Cebu with services like a massage, restorative healing session and many more ideal for couples, group of friends and families.
