Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija – Government agencies held a Serbisyo Caravan in Barangay Malbang as part of a commemoration of the successful clearing operations conducted against communist terrorist groups (CTGs) last year.
The caravan is part of the AFP Development Support and Security Plan (DSSP) "KAPAYAPAAN" and is aimed at sustaining peace and supporting community recovery in cleared areas.
To recall, the clearing operations last year led to the neutralization of 10 members and leaders of the Komiteng Rehiyon Gitnang Luzon (KRGL) in the aforementioned area.
A total of 372 beneficiaries received essential government services and assistance, including relief goods, medical check-ups, legal consultations, and livelihood and educational support.
The activity was conducted in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pantabangan, Department of Education (DepEd), Philippine National Police (PNP), Barangay Malbang Council, along with partners from the private sector such as the Rotary Club Makati San Antonio, Nueva Ecija Makabansa Eagles Club, High Land Defender Prime Eagles Club, Nmax United Club Philippines, Fam Ridge by Desmond Farm, Lake Farm De La Marre, and George Point.
Brigadier General Eugenio Julio C. Osias IV, Commander of the 703rd Infantry (Agila) Brigade, who was also present, expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders — local government units, partner agencies, and the private sector — for their unwavering support of the AFP’s peace and development initiatives.
This joint effort highlights the AFP’s continuing commitment to a whole-of-nation approach in sustaining peace, security, and development in formerly conflict-affected areas.
