A 49-year-old fugitive listed as the province’s most wanted person was arrested during a manhunt operation in Barangay Mahabang Parang, Angono, Friday afternoon.
Authorities identified the suspect only by the alias "Dy," a tricycle driver. He was apprehended around 12:40 p.m. by law enforcement personnel serving a warrant of arrest issued by the Binangonan Regional Trial Court Branch 68.
The suspect is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
According to the Rizal Police Provincial Office, the operation is part of the ongoing intensified campaign to crack down on crime and maintain peace and order across the province.
