A customer service worker was scolded by a stranger for eating lunch in an unusual location next to the building where the former worked.
Sharing the experience on the Reddit discussion platform, the worker said he/she was sitting on one of the benches after finishing a sandwich when a visitor arrived at the cemetery and told him/her they were visiting their parents.
When the visitor asked the Redditor who she had lost, the latter admitted there was no loved one buried there.
The visitor felt disgusted and accused the lunch eater of “treating the cemetery like a personal park,” Fox News reports.
“I apologized and left immediately and haven’t been back since. But I was surprised to hear this, as I had not thought I was being disrespectful,” the user said, according to Fox News.
Finley Ranson, 14, from England, has a more serious eating problem than the cemetery lunch incident.
Doctors said there is no medical condition like Ranson’s affliction so it has no name.
“I’ve got a rare condition where I can’t have fat into my stomach,” the boy told news agency SWNS, Fox News reports.
When fatty compounds or oils found in foods get into Ranson’s stomach, his body reacts as if it was a virus, causing him to bleed internally.
Thus, since age 4, lipids have been given to him through a tube passing through his chest and connected to the central vein in his heart, bypassing the stomach. He is also fed with other nutrients three times a day into his stomach via a different tube, according to Fox News.
The six-hour feeding process is done twice a week and Ranson’s mother, Rhys, said he is being trained to do the infusion himself.
