A new heartthrob is on the rise as Mad Ramos, a 19-year-old student from the University of Santo Tomas, was officially named the grand winner of Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s inaugural Campus Cutie Search held on Saturday afternoon.
The “Spike Prince of the South” outshined 19 other equally charming and talented contenders aged 16 to 22. Ramos wowed both judges and the audience with his looks, talent, and confidence, ultimately bagging the title of the first-ever Sparkle Campus Cutie.
Proudly representing the Muslim community, Ramos stood out during the competition’s final round, which featured performances in singing and dancing, as well as a showcase of each finalist’s charisma and star presence. From 20 participants, the competition narrowed down to the Top 10, who then faced a question-and-answer segment where they each shared why they deserved to be crowned.
As the winner, Mad Ramos is set to sign an exclusive management contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center, where he will be groomed to become one of the network’s next big stars and possibly the next Kapuso leading man.
