Three suspected drug personalities were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Binangonan, Rizal, early Tuesday morning.
Arrested were individuals identified only by their aliases: "Peng," a known street-level drug pusher; "Lolong," a newly identified street-level drug pusher; and "JV," a newly identified street-level drug user.
Operatives of the Binangonan Municipal Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation at Phase 4, Mabuhay Homes, Barangay Darangan, around 2:50 AM
Confiscated from the suspects were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing approximately 17.59 grams and valued at P119,612. Also seized were a black coin purse, P200 recovered money, P300 in buy-bust money, a black Redmi cellphone, and a cyan Tecno cellphone.
The suspects are now detained at the Binangonan Municipal Police Station custodial facility and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
