Power Mac Center (PMC), the country’s premier Apple partner, is making a strategic push into island economies with the opening of its first-ever branch in Siargao, a move seen to boost tech accessibility and support digital-driven lifestyles in one of the Philippines’ most popular tourist destinations.
Located at the AKAW Lifestyle Complex, The Loop by Power Mac Center will offer a wide range of Apple and Android-powered devices and accessories—catering to both locals and the growing population of digital nomads, freelancers, and entrepreneurs who have made the surfing capital their remote work base.
“Our presence in Siargao Island signifies our intent to meet our customers where they are and provide the kind of support they require,” PMC Director for Marketing and Product Management Joey Alvarez said.
“We continue to expand our network in the different regions to help improve access to essential tech services and empower communities to maximize innovation for a better life.”
Tech ecosystem beyond cities
The new store marks PMC’s third location in the Caraga Region, following branches in Butuan City, and reflects a broader trend of retail and service expansion into rural and island economies to support digital transformation and regional growth.
The store opening comes with a wave of launch promotions, including steep discounts on iPads, MacBooks, iPhones, and accessories, valid until 22 June 2025. These offers are positioned not only to attract tourists and early tech adopters but also to support the everyday tech needs of families, students, and entrepreneurs in the province.
Loyalty program and services
Customers who shop at the new branch can also earn points through PMC’s 1 Infinite loyalty program, which rewards purchases with redeemable credits for devices, accessories, services, and Apple training courses.
The Loop in Siargao operates daily from 10 AM to 10 PM—extended to 11 PM on Saturdays. It is the 40th Loop branch nationwide, cementing PMC’s continued retail growth and its mission to bring premium tech closer to underserved and emerging communities.
