The country’s First Lady, Louise Liza Araneta-Marcos, took to social media on Sunday, Father’s Day, to greet the love of her life, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

The First Lady extolled the President not just for being an amazing dad, but also “the heart of our home.”

“Thanks for being the calm in our chaos and the king of our castle [even I am still the Queen],” Araneta-Marcos wrote on her Instagram on Sunday.

“Today, we celebrate the man our children look up to ... and the husband I still look at with love [and occasional exasperation]. Love you forever,” she further said in her caption on the collage, showing the President with his sons and the First Lady.

Kids honor Pop

Meanwhile, the children of the President—William Vincent ‘Vinny’, Joseph Simon, and Ilocos Representative Alexander ‘Zandro’ Marcos—also honored their Dad on Sunday.

Vinny said his Dad, the President, always provides their family with the best love languages.

“My Dad always gave all five love languages, honestly. He always spent time with us. He gave us gifts growing up. So yeah, I think... best of all worlds. My favorite bonding moments with my dad are just the time we spend together doing something. Whether it's kayaking or just watching TV. Basta, being together in the same room is nice,” he said in a video message on Sunday.

While growing up, Vinny said his father always told him not to let other people's emotions get in the way of what you're trying to do and what you believe in.

“Happy Father's Day, Pop. Thanks for always being there for me. And thanks for being someone that I can always look up to. Love you, Pop,” said the youngest member of the First Family.

Simon greeted his father for being the best possible father he could ever have.

“And thank you so much for being there. I couldn't have gone anywhere without you. I love you so much. And I hope you are having the best Father's Day possible. Love you to bits,” he said.

And for PBBM’s eldest son, Rep. Zandro, he thanked his Father for doing his best for their family, especially the constant guidance.

“It's an honor for me to learn from you on a daily basis. And thank you for everything that you do for the country, and for standing up for what you believe is right. For being resolute in the face of adversity. And I hope that despite your busy, busy schedule that you can at least hopefully find some time to rest. I couldn't ask for a better dad. I couldn't ask for a better mentor. And I couldn't ask for anyone better than you to work with,” he said.

The young congressman of Ilocos Norte also thanked his father for imparting his wisdom to him, teaching me what is right, and all the sound advice that he gave Zandro, which the lawmaker said: “Which I (really) do need from you sometimes.”

“So, once again, happy, happy Father's Day, and thank you for being such a great dad. And thank you again for everything that you do for this country. Love you, Pop!” he said.
