The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-National Capital Region (IBP-NCR) chapters signed a memorandum of agreement recently aimed at strengthening adherence to law and rights-based policing.
The signing ceremony took place at the NCRPO Multi-Purpose Hinirang Hall in Camp Bagong Diwa.
In a statement, the NCRPO said that the partnership solidifies a shared commitment to upholding the rule of law by offering legal counseling, assistance and education to uniformed personnel, especially those navigating service-related legal challenges.
This initiative aligns with the Philippine National Police chief’s program to enhance officers’ legal expertise through re-education, providing them with current legal knowledge for fair and effective law enforcement.
