All seven members of BTS, the world’s biggest K-pop boy group, are scheduled to complete their mandatory military service by June 2025, paving the way for a historic reunion.
This will mark the group’s first full return to the public eye since they paused group activities in 2022.
Official reports state that Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on 11 June, following RM and V, who will be released on 10 June. Suga, who began his alternative service later than the others, will be the last to finish, with his discharge expected on 21 June.
With this long-awaited milestone, BTS will formally conclude their military chapter by the end of June, setting the stage for what fans and industry insiders expect to be one of the most memorable and significant comebacks in K-pop history.
Jin, the eldest member, was the first to enlist and was discharged in June 2023, followed by J-Hope, who completed his service in October 2024. Both have gradually resumed public appearances, further fueling anticipation for a full-group return.
