The cobbled streets of Intramuros came alive once again as the Grand Santacruzan returned in full splendor — an elegant fusion of devotion, artistry, and Filipino pride. Organized by the Intramuros Administration, the Department of Tourism, the Philippine Travel Agencies Association, and The Runway Atelier, this year’s event seamlessly wove tradition with modern creativity, celebrating faith, family, and national identity.

Set against the timeless backdrop of Manila’s historic walled city, the procession began at Foro de Intramuros, just outside the San Agustin Church, and made its way to the verdant Puerto Real Gardens. The celebration opened with a solemn Mass and blessing, grounding the pageantry in deep Catholic roots and reminding attendees of the Santacruzan’s spiritual significance.

But the day’s festivities also spotlighted youth, artistry, and cultural expression. Models, families, and heritage advocates paraded in exquisite ensembles that paid tribute to history while embracing contemporary design. The mix of generations and styles underscored a shared pride in Filipino heritage.

Among the evening’s standouts were participants who best embodied the spirit of the occasion. The Best Dressed honors went to:

• Ann Marie Tolentino as Reyna dela Coronation

• Chryzle Ava Geronimo as Reyna Emperatriz

• Aliana Orfanel as Reyna del Rosario

The ever-charming Mr. and Ms. Photogenic awards were awarded to Ardy Rich Marsada, Miguel Casimiro, Zowie Xin, and Lizzie Aguinaldo, whose grace and camera-ready presence added a modern flair to the classic procession.

Crowd favorites like Rhiana Beatrice Alto (Reyna de los Angeles) and Theodore Benzley T. Salgado (Regal Escort) earned some of the loudest cheers from the appreciative audience lining the streets.

No Santacruzan is complete without its floral arcs, and this year’s Best Arc awards recognized the artistry behind these cherished icons:

• 3rd Place (₱2,000): Princess Mikayla Baruiz
