Heaven Peralejo wins best actress for the horror-thriller film 'Lilim' at the Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival in Japan.

“Still in disbelief. Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for hearing me,” she wrote on Instagram.

Director Mikhail Red also took home the best director award for the film.

Lilim is the story of siblings Issa and Tomas who seek shelter in a secluded orphanage in the forest after evading the police. The safe haven that they thought turns out to be a hellscape controlled by a sacrificial cult in honor of the demon Lilith.
