President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar earned praise from beneficiaries of the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program as more housing units are turned over across the country.
In Palayan City, Nueva Ecija, hundreds of beneficiaries have been processed, with some already occupying units in the 23-hectare township project in Barangay Atate.
“It’s a dream to finally have our own place,” said Ma. Cassandra Gonzales, one of the early occupants.
In Mindanao, units have been turned over in People’s Ville in Davao City and Valley View Township in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
“After 22 years of renting, we finally have a decent and safe home,” said Evelyn Cuarta, now residing in People’s Ville.
At Valley View, child developmenshet worker Kenneth Jane Rose Gasis said was “amazed” by the quality of the housing and thanked the government for the opportunity.
Completed and ongoing 4PH projects include the Palayan City Township, Asenso Yuhum Residences in Bacolod, People’s Ville in Davao City, and Valley View Township in Misamis Oriental. Hundreds of units are also ready in Crystal Peak Estates in Pampanga.
Other sites in advanced stages include EL Sand Residences in Laoag, Bocaue Bulacan Manor, Abuab Towers in San Mateo, Pilar in Bataan, San Miguel in Manila, and Pili in Camarines Sur. Application processing continues in partnership with local governments and the Pag-IBIG Fund.
