SM Megamall just became ground zero for Filipino gamers.

With the launch of the first-ever HP OMEN Playground in Southeast Asia, HP Philippines isn’t just opening a store — it’s unlocking a whole new level for players who live and breathe games, whether casually on weekends or competitively every day. Think of it as a tech-filled arcade meets battlestation showcase, where you can finally try out the gear you've only seen online — and maybe even flex in a Valorant 1v1 while you’re at it.

“There are 43 million gamers in the Philippines... and this space is for every one of them,” said Ida Ong-Co, Managing Director of HP Philippines. “We want to empower gamers with the technology to perform at their best.”

For many Filipinos, gaming isn’t just a hobby. It's practically a rite of passage. From neighborhood Dota matches to crowded internet cafés echoing with shouts of “back! back! back!”, the culture runs deep. And now, it has a new home.

Not just a store. It’s a playground.

gamers of every level to test the full ecosystem
of high-performance laptops, desktops, and
peripherals– alongside HyperX accessories.

Located on the 4th floor of SM Megamall Cyberzone, the OMEN Playground is HP’s love letter to the local gaming community. The space brings together OMEN and Victus gaming laptops and desktops, and HyperX accessories — all in an open floor concept that encourages exploration, competition, and community.

“Our philosophy is built on three pillars: performance, personalization, and play,” Ong-Co added.

And the Playground isn’t just about flashy specs. It’s a living, breathing experience. In the upcoming launch weekend on 23 to 25 May, players can join the Valorant Cosplay Challenge or dominate the 1v1 King of the Hill Deathmatch for a shot at exclusive HyperX gear and OMEN merch.

First ten buyers each day? You’re getting deals of up to ₱30,000 off, along with freebies like HyperX gear and Uniqlo GCs.

Power + personalization = OMEN AI

For players who’ve spent hours tweaking graphics settings and watching frame rate counters, there’s something to be excited about: OMEN AI.

This smart system delivers personalized optimizations that adjust to how you play — think automated thermal tuning, gameplay enhancement suggestions, and system tweaks designed to keep your rig smooth and fast without the headaches.

“We are full speed in the AI era,” said Edo Chandra, Category Manager for Gaming Business Solutions at HP Indonesia & Philippines. “And with OMEN Max, we are giving all the control to the customer.”

“We always think gamer first,” he added. “Everything we do is with gaming in mind.”

That means no more guesswork. No more digging through forums to figure out the right settings. Just power on and play.

With Southeast Asia quickly emerging as a regional gaming powerhouse, HP is betting big on Filipino players to lead the charge.

“Southeast Asia is really seen as the emerging gaming hub in the region,” Ong-Co said.

The OMEN and Victus lineup offers top-tier performance at competitive prices, something every gamer grinding rank can appreciate. Whether you’re loading into a sweaty Dota 2 match or diving into the latest AAA title, these machines are built to keep up — powered by the latest Intel and AMD chips, RTX graphics cards, and buttery-smooth displays.

Add to that HP’s new 2-year home service warranty, and you’ve got peace of mind that even tower mains can appreciate.

Ready to level up? The HP OMEN Playground is now open at SM Megamall Cyberzone, 4th Floor. Get in the game, and maybe — just maybe — you’ll find your next power spike.
