Las Piñas City began its post-election cleanup on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, following the directive of newly proclaimed Mayor April Aguilar, who made the clearing of campaign materials her “first order of the day” after the proclamation.
Aguilar mobilized city personnel to remove posters, tarpaulins, and other campaign paraphernalia. Teams were taking down banners from public spaces, demonstrating the city’s commitment to restoring order.
The local government emphasized that this early move reflects Mayor-elect Aguilar’s intention to lead with discipline and responsiveness, starting her term with a strong message of clean, responsible governance.
