The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) said it has yet to access election data from the Commission on Elections (Comelec), which it noted is "highly unusual."

As of 8:15 p.m., the PPCRV said its Transparency Server has received approximately 34 percent of the election results.

However, it is currently unable to download the data for processing, which it noted is "a serious concern."

"We have been in constant communication with Comelec, but as of now, we have not received any explanation. The only file provided to us so far contains no data," the PPCRV said.

It explained that since 2010, it has not experienced a delay of this nature, or even receiving a first data dump, "especially despite over one-third of results already being transmitted."

"We understand that Comelec is meeting at this time. We pray for a swift resolution, and more importantly, for immediate access to the data, so that we may maintain transparency and clarity about what is unfolding in our country," it said.

The PPCRV assured it will update the public as soon as it receives the data, as it underscored that the delay is "unprecedented and deeply concerning."
