Canon Philippines showcased the future of visual storytelling on Saturday, unveiling its latest cinema innovations during an exclusive event for creators and industry leaders at Yellow Studio in Makati.
The gathering brought together filmmakers, content creators, and production professionals for a hands-on experience with Canon’s groundbreaking releases: the Cinema EOS C80, EOS C400, and EOS R5 C.
"Canon has long been synonymous with excellence in imaging technology," said award-winning actress and event host Sue Prado, opening the event with a reminder of Canon’s enduring legacy.

That power was palpable from the first hands-on moments with the Cinema EOS lineup. The EOS C80, palm-sized yet packed with a 6K full-frame back-illuminated sensor, stunned with its portability without compromising quality — perfect for run-and-gun filmmakers and drone operators craving freedom without sacrificing frames of action.
Meanwhile, the EOS C400 raised the bar for professionals working in live productions and big-screen cinema alike, offering 6K 60p RAW capture inside a lightweight, battle-ready body.
Bridging the worlds of motion and stills, the EOS R5 C — Netflix-approved and capable of breathtaking 8K/60P video recording — seamlessly merged the demands of hybrid creators in a single compact system.

The event, graced by Canon Philippines President Anuj Aggarwal and Product Manager JV Ruanto, was a call to arms for creators — giving them the tools to literally bring to life what only the mind can see.
"The demand for high-quality video content is growing faster than ever," Aggarwal said. "Canon is here not just to meet that demand but to inspire a new generation of storytellers to push their visions further."
