SM Supermalls is expanding its network of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) to 123, with 50 more planned for 2025. The network, offering free charging at 69 locations, supports eco-friendly road trips this Holy Week for travelers heading north and south.
As a Department of Energy-accredited operator, SM ensures its stations meet national standards, addressing infrastructure gaps and promoting EV adoption. EVs help reduce CO₂ emissions, offering a cleaner alternative to traditional vehicles.
For Holy Week, travelers can take advantage of free charging on routes such as SM Mall of Asia to SM City Baguio (266 km), saving 0.067 metric tons of CO₂. Shorter trips, including SM MOA to SM City Clark (96 km), offer up to 0.02 metric tons of CO₂ savings.
The initiative also supports eco-friendly travel in the Visayas and Mindanao, with charging stations at SM City Cebu, SM City Cagayan de Oro, and SM Lanang in Davao.
This Holy Week, #RechargeWithSM for hassle-free, sustainable travel across the Philippines.
