Operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested four individuals considered high-value targets and seized over P4.7 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Cavite.
In a statement released Sunday, PDEA identified the suspects as alias Kumar, Samiha, Aisah and Alaisah. They were apprehended in the parking lot of a mall in Barangay Molino IV, Bacoor, Cavite, on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities confiscated 700 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P4.7 million along with the buy-bust money used in the operation.
The seized evidence has been submitted to the PDEA laboratory for chemical analysis and proper disposal.
Authorities said that the suspects are currently detained at a local PDEA facility and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
