Fresh off the electrifying energy of his sold-out album launch, Jarren Garcia isn’t resting on his laurels. Instead, he’s diving headfirst into the digital age with the captivating music video for his latest single, “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme.”

The track takes on a whole new dimension in its visual representation. As Jarren revealed at the music video launch, the narrative unfolds with a futuristic twist. “It’s about craving love. You’re asking, pleading for it,” he explained, before dropping the intriguing bombshell: “In this music video, I was talking to this girl, and I was getting so hooked, but it turned out to just be an AI, a love bot.”

This unexpected narrative thread injects a dose of modern-day reality into the timeless pursuit of love. In an era where technology increasingly blurs the lines of human connection, Jarren’s video poses a compelling question: What happens when our deepest longings are met with artificial intelligence? The concept, brought to life by the creative minds at Chapters PH, promises a visually stunning exploration of this very idea.

Reflecting on his first-ever music video shoot, Jarren shared a glimpse into the dedication behind the final product. “It took a whole day ‘cause we had to make sure all the shots were perfect and we had different looks as well,” he said.

Beyond the music and visuals, Jarren also took a moment to address a less glamorous side of the industry: Online negativity. With a maturity that belies his rising star status, he offered a powerful message to those tearing down artists. “It’s so nice seeing people support their idols and who they look up to and showing them an abundance of love, but having to bring one person down just to support whoever you’re supporting is frankly immature,” he stated.

His words, direct and insightful, called for a shift in focus towards genuine support and self-reflection, reminding everyone that online actions speak volumes about one’s character.

The creative force behind “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme” extends beyond Jarren. He co-wrote the track with industry heavyweights Jonathan Manalo, ABS-CBN Music’s operations, content and creative head, and Roque “Rox” Santos, head of the StarPop label, who also took on production duties.

Jarren’s self-titled debut album, recently released under Star Magic, has already made a significant impact. It soared to the top of the iTunes Philippines chart and has garnered over 1.4 million streams on Spotify, a testament to his musical prowess and growing popularity. The energy from his digital success translated seamlessly to the live stage, with his album launch at SM City North Edsa Skydome proving to be a sold-out triumph.

With “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,” Jarren Garcia isn’t just delivering another catchy tune; he’s sparking a conversation about the evolving landscape of relationships in our increasingly digital world. So, are you ready to plug in and explore the future of love?
