The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) announced on Tuesday the apprehension of five individuals listed in the April 2025 regional top 10 most wanted persons during a series of operations across Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
Officials said that the most significant arrest occurred on 28 March 2025, when alias Rogie, the region’s number 1 most wanted, was captured in Barangay Pias, Jaen, Nueva Ecija.
The 55-year-old murder suspect, who had been evading authorities since a no-bail warrant was issued in February, was apprehended by the Eastern Police District’s District Special Operations Unit, with support from the Pasig City Police Station and the Eastern Police District’s Warrant and Subpoena Section.
He has been transferred to the custody of the Pasig City Police Station.
Earlier in the day, alias Andres, the number 4 most wanted, was located at his residence in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City. The 64-year-old murder suspect, who is bedridden due to chronic illness, was apprehended by the Northern Police District’s District Special Operations Unit and remains under police supervision pending legal and medical assessments.
Over the weekend, alias Jabbar Tamano, the region’s number 3 most wanted and number 1 in the Southern Police District, was arrested at Commonwealth Market in Quezon City on Sunday.
The 26-year-old security guard, wanted for murder, was apprehended in a high-risk operation by F2-RMFB and supporting units.
