Former TV personality Cesca Litton surprised her Facebook followers with a revelation of her battle with the Big C. “2024 had one last surprise for me. Breast cancer,” she initially disclosed.

She then shared how “December was a whirlwind of tests and consultations, until the biopsy results confirmed the big C.”

“I don’t think I ever really gave myself time to process, I just shifted into ‘act now, feel later’ mode,” she said.

“Mastectomy/reconstruction done in January. Chemo started in March,” she added.

And while going through different medical processes, Litton has been working the whole time, “trying to keep my life and routine as normal as possible, and also, because I can.”

Initially, Litton wanted her cancer journey a secret “but there was no point in hiding it anymore once I started losing my hair.”

She honored her “support system that has gone above and beyond for me despite my best attempts at downplaying what I’m dealing with.”

“Thank you for showing me I don’t have to go through this alone. Thank you for praying so hard for me that I can feel myself being held up by prayers. Thank you to the people who have given me grace and time to do what I need to do.  Thank you to the ones who respected me enough to leave this as my story to tell, because my story is far from over. I’ve got things to do, places to see, mountains to climb, and love to give back. God is good. Always,” she wrote, noting that “early detection is key.”

Why Kim Chiu does not check BF’s cellphone

If there’s one particular rule that It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu observes when she’s in a relationship, it’s not reading her boyfriend’s messages on his cellphone.

“No, wala. Hindi talaga. ‘Yun kasi ang magsisimula ng away (No, none. None at all.  That’s where the fight starts),” she said in Bianca Gonzalez’s podcast show, Paano Ba ‘To.

Chiu learned that lesson from a past relationship.

“Sana maging honest na lang. Konsensiya na lang ng lalaki na maging honest sa ‘yo. ‘Wag na ‘yung ikaw ang makaalam kasi mas masakit. Ako, hindi ako nagbabasa ng cellphone (Hope the guy would be honest. It’s his conscience to be honest with you. It shouldn’t be you to know because it’s more painful. Me, I don’t read (my boyfriend’s cellphone),” she said.
