The Land Transportation Office (LTO) disclosed on Tuesday that it has summoned the registered owner and the driver of a dump truck that crashed into at least 16 concrete barriers of the EDSA Bus Carousel in Quezon City earlier in the day.
LTO chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II stated that the ongoing investigation aims to determine the circumstances leading to the accident at the EDSA-Santolan Bus Carousel.
“We want to know why it resulted in this kind of accident because it is not normal for this type of accident where you plow through concrete barriers,” Mendoza said.
“In this specific investigation, we want to hear the driver’s side to determine if the fault lies with him or if he had been working for too long, leading to this,” he added.
