Actor Andres Muhlach is proving he’s more than just a rising star in television—he’s also stepping into the music scene as a singer and recording artist.

On 21 March, 2025, his rendition of Ikaw ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko, the 1974 classic by Hotdog, will be available on various audio streaming platforms.

Fans will be pleasantly surprised by his soothing vocals, showcasing a hidden talent that runs in the family—just like his twin sister, Atasha Muhlach.

Andres’ growing popularity was evident at the Ang Mutya ng Section E panel discussion held on 15 March at the Philippine Book Festival in SM Megamall’s Megatrade Hall. The event, attended by co-stars Ashtine Olviga, Rabin Angeles, and director Theodore Boborol, drew an overwhelming crowd.

The excitement continued last 16 March, when an estimated 100,000 fans gathered at SM Caloocan City for a meet-and-greet with the cast.

Overwhelmed by the support, Andres took to social media to express his gratitude.

"First, I want to express my thanks to everyone who has supported *Ang Mutya ng Section E* from the very beginning,” he wrote from his previous post.

He also gave a heartfelt shoutout to the fans who continue to show their love for the show and his co-stars.

“To the fans, the supporters, and the wonderful people who continue to follow our show, your love, encouragement, and efforts never go unnoticed. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.”

Andres further shared his appreciation for the people behind the series, calling it a dream to work with such an incredible team.
