ONIC PH ends slump with sweep of AP Bren

Defending champion ONIC PH ended its losing streak with a sweep over the still winless AP Bren on Week 3, Day 3 of MPL Season 15 last Sunday at Green Sun Hotel in Makati.

The M6 world champion roster of K1ngkong, Kelra, Brusko, Super Frince, and Kirk began the season with a 2-0 win over TNC but found themselves in a slump after a three-game losing streak against Aurora, Team Falcons, and Team Liquid PH.

ONIC PH faced commendable resistance from AP Bren, but in the end, their chemistry, mechanical skill, and overall gameplay prowess led them to a 2-0 sweep over the latter.

"I do not think this is the start of our momentum yet; we will find out in the second leg. We are eager to get even with those who [defeated] us in the first leg," ONIC PH jungler King "K1ngkong" Perez said after the match.

ONIC PH's return to the winning column improved their season standing to 2-3, while AP Bren dropped to 0-5.
