Ever thought about driving a hybrid and an electric vehicle, but figured it’s probably out of reach? Dongfeng Motors Philippines has an interesting deal right now — only good until 31 March 2025 — that might just make this possible.

Let’s start with the Aeolus Huge Hybrid. Honestly, this isn’t your typical hybrid. It combines a 175hp turbocharged 1.5-liter gas engine with a 17hp electric motor, making it both powerful and efficient. It charges itself while driving, so you don’t have to worry about plugging it in. Plus, at lower speeds, the engine works as a generator, which helps save fuel without compromising power.

On top of being efficient, it has some helpful features. There’s Level 2 driving assistance — things like lane-keeping assist, smart steering, and even cameras that spot pedestrians and street signs. If you hate parking (who doesn’t?), the 360-degree camera with 3D assist is a lifesaver. It also connects easily to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto via a dongle. And if you care about sound, the premium audio system by Danish brand Jamo is impressive.

Inside, the Aeolus Huge feels as roomy and comfortable as its name suggests. It’s also pretty striking to look at, both inside and out.

Then there’s the EX1 Pro EV. This one is fully electric, designed specifically for city driving. It offers around 300km of range on a full charge, which is plenty for daily errands or commutes. And if you’re short on time, the fast-charging feature gets the battery from 30 percent to 80 percent in roughly half an hour. Compact and practical, the EX1 Pro is a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, emission-free drive around town.
