DITO Telecommunity emerged as a major player in the global telecommunications industry after securing three prestigious awards at the 2025 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.

The Philippines’ third telco was recognized for its rapid technological advancements and aggressive 5G deployment, winning accolades from Whale Cloud, Huawei Technologies and Opensignal.

Whale Cloud, a leading provider of digital solutions, awarded DITO the Best Digital Experience Platform, citing the company’s innovations in customer engagement and operational efficiency. The recognition underscored DITO’s efforts to enhance digital services and improve user experience in the country.

Huawei Technologies honored DITO with the First Large-Scale RedCap FWA Commercial Deployment in the World award.

This followed DITO’s launch of Home WOWFi, the world’s first 5G RedCap WiFi for home use, aimed at making high-speed connectivity more accessible to Filipino households.
