For Solenn Heussaff, International Women’s Day wasn’t about grand gestures or bustling city celebrations. Instead, the Kapuso star chose to immerse herself in the serene beauty and rich culture of Hoi An, Vietnam, for a truly meaningful experience.
Trading the familiar comforts of home for the enchanting streets of the well-preserved ancient town, Solenn embarked on a women’s retreat, a journey of connection and rejuvenation. Sharing snapshots of her trip on Instagram, she revealed a travel squad that included Status by Sparkle’s Sandy Riccio, Stephanie Zubiri and Issa Pressman, highlighting the power of female camaraderie.
Hoi An, a picturesque coastal town a 13-hour drive from Hanoi, proved to be the perfect backdrop for this soul-nourishing getaway. “There is something magical about the charming city of Hoi An,” Solenn captioned her photos, capturing the essence of the town’s captivating allure.
In collaboration with Soulful Feasts, Solenn and her companions found themselves at the Namia River Retreat, a haven designed to foster connection and introspection. The retreat provided a space for these women to “breathe, move, connect, share and simply pause,” as Solenn eloquently described.
The focus wasn’t on the frenetic pace of modern life, but on the power of shared experiences and the strength found in female solidarity. “The space shared with women… My heart is grateful,” she shared, emphasizing the profound impact of the retreat on her well-being.
Beyond her travels, Solenn’s life is filled with love and family. Married to Nico Bolzico, she is a devoted mother to two daughters, Thylane and Maëlys. And while she cherished this moment of personal reflection, she’s also gearing up for her return to the screen.
Fans of the iconic Encantadia can rejoice, as Solenn is set to reprise her role as Cassiopeia in the highly anticipated spinoff, San’ggre. Starring alongside Bianca Umali, Kelvin Miranda, Faith Da Silva and Angel Guardian, Solenn’s return promises to bring a touch of magic to the new chapter of the beloved saga.
