Heads up, motorists! DPWH to conduct weekend road repairs in QC, Caloocan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will carry out road reblocking and repairs in several areas of Quezon City and Caloocan City starting Friday, March 7, at 11:00 PM. The maintenance work will continue until Monday, March 10, at 5:00 AM, affecting multiple major thoroughfares.

According to DPWH, the following roads will undergo repairs:

  • Quezon City: Fairview Avenue (Lokal ng Fairview to Boss Gas Station), Central Avenue (Northbound, fronting Forest Villas), A. Bonifacio Avenue (11th Avenue to C3), G. Araneta Avenue (Del Monte Ave. to N.S. Amoranto), A. Bonifacio (Blumentritt to Mauban), N. Roxas Street (Biak na Bato to Blumentritt), Sgt. Rivera (Sto. Domingo to Banawe), Commonwealth Avenue (fronting General Malvar Hospital to Puregold), and Commonwealth Avenue (corner Elliptical to University Avenue).

  • Caloocan City: Gen. San Miguel (Westbound, between Buklod ng Nayon St. to Paz St.), and C-3 Road (Eastbound, between Dagat-Dagatan Avenue to Tuna Street).

DPWH advised motorists to take alternate routes as traffic congestion is expected in the affected areas. All roads are scheduled to be fully passable by early Monday morning.
