The Mortgage Market Global Summit 2025 officially kicks off today, bringing together top mortgage and financial leaders to explore innovations in secondary mortgage markets.

Hosted by the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation, the summit opens with the International Secondary Mortgage Market Association Quarterly Meeting, setting the stage for three days of high-level discussions on housing finance expansion and financial resilience.

Among the notable speakers at tomorrow's main summit are European Mortgage Federation-ECBC secretary general Luca Bertalot, Philippine Housing Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas monetary board member Rosalia De Leon, and Japan Housing Finance Agency’s International Affairs Department director general Yuji Date.

Executives from leading global financial institutions, including Cagamas Berhad (Malaysia), Tanzania Mortgage Refinance Company, World Bank, and S&P Global Ratings, are also set to participate.

The summit marks the first stop of the EMF-ECBC Asian Covered Bond Roadshow, which will continue in Singapore on 11 March.
