NLEX starts P2.2-B C5 Northlink project
Once completed, the expressway, to be built by China Road and Bridge Corp., will improve access between NLEX, Valenzuela and Quezon City, cutting travel time and easing traffic on EDSA, Commonwealth Avenue, Quirino Highway and Mindanao Avenue
NLEX OIC and CFO Maria Theresa Wells, Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. CFO Luis Renon, Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, and Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. president and CEO Jose Ma. Lim led the groundbreaking ceremony for the start of the construction of the P2.2-billion NLEX-C5 Northlink Section. Officials from the Toll Regulatory Board, the Department of Public Works and Highways and the Department of Housing and Human Settlements-National Housing Corporation were likewise present at the event.
