The incident sparked a wider conversation about voter education and civic awareness, prompting Comelec to extend an invitation to Aquino. This initiative aimed to bridge the knowledge gap and foster a deeper understanding of the agency's vital role in the Philippine electoral process.

"Mas naunawaan ko po 'yung meaning talaga ng Comelec and kung ano pa po talaga 'yung ginagawa nila, and ine-encourage ko po na mas alamin po natin 'yung trabaho ng Comelec," Aquino told the media after her tour.
