The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has granted a total of P2.3 million in financial assistance to three non-government organizations focused on caring for abandoned, neglected, and surrendered children.
The ceremonial turnover, held on 24 February 2025, at the PCSO Main Office, saw PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles personally present donation checks of P1 million each to Sr. Martha Gamolo, Administrator of Hospicio de San Jose, Inc., and Mely Reluya, Center Administrator of White Cross, Inc. Melanie Alog, Executive Director of Alay Pag-Asa Christian Foundation, Inc., received P300,000 in aid.
The funds will support the organizations’ programs, including healthcare, feeding services, and overall child development efforts.
The donations are part of PCSO’s Institutional Partnership Program (IPP), which provides financial assistance to welfare agencies and charitable medical institutions.
