Dear Atty. Angela,
Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan joins the LGBTQ+ community in celebrating love this Valentine’s through a new ballad.
“Nagmamahal Lang Ako” talks about love being free for everyone despite society not being open about it yet. The Kapamilya artist said it was inspired by the love story of one of her friends who has yet to declare their love.
“I wrote this song for one of my best friends na hindi pa maipagsigawan sa mundo ang pagmamahal na meron siya (who still has not expressed the love they have inside). While they wait for their right time, ako na muna ang mabibiing boses ng kwento niya (I will be the voice for the meantime),” KZ posted on Instagram.
KZ produced the single arranged by Theo Martel, recorded, mixed and mastered by Timothy Recla, and released under Star Music.
It will be part of the OPM artist’s upcoming album, Soul Supremacy II.
