TERNO ROUND: A roundup of some of our favorite Filipiniana spotted at Ternocon 2025

Fashion and style icons, pillars, editors, insiders, movers, society, best dressed and ITs gathered in a spectacular night of design profusion, future-forward innovation and cultural celebration. It was inspiring to see the whole town brave the traffic on a Sunday, all the way to the bay area and to a national landmark, dressed up in their most authentic and stylish masterpieces.

The year began on a high note for Philippine fashion, as the recently concluded Ternocon 2025, held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) last Sunday, 26 January, saw the style meter tipping the scales.

Now on its fourth edition, the once-in-two-years gathering is a visionary platform of artistry and stewardship — and one of the biggest well-attended industry events.

From the classic and traditional to the modern and contemporary, with some avant-garde here and there, it was a tall order for attires bearing patriotism, love local and Filipiniana well and appropriately met.

The future of fashion is bright as designer hopefuls and geniuses from all over the country showcased a plethora of outstanding and noteworthy creations. Indeed, there’s so much optimism and drive towards a future where history, culture and tradition are taken to the next level instead of being lost in time.

The legacy of Ben Chan is immortalized not only through Ternocon 2025 and Bench, but most importantly in the countless lives of aspiring talents and designers whose dreams come true. The iconic Terno shines and will survive from now and will be passed on from generation to generation.
