President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) Leaders' Convergence Summit at The Manila Hotel in the City of Manila on 31 January 2025, gathering over 1,300 party members, including incumbent and aspiring government officials from the National Capital Region (NCR), Region IV-A (CALABARZON), Region III (Central Luzon), and other key regions for meaningful discussions.
As national chairman of the PFP, President Marcos convened the summit to engage members on the issues that matter most ahead of the 2025 campaign period. He emphasized the importance of unity and collective action for national development and underscored that the summit was a final opportunity for members to align strategies and address key concerns before the official campaign begins.
In his message, Marcos reinforced the party’s commitment to good governance, strengthening alliances, and supporting its candidates at both national and local levels. “Kagaya ng sabi ko, nandito kaming lahat upang makinig sa inyo kung ano ba ang mga nagiging issue doon sa inyo, kung ano ‘yung mga kailangang gawin,” he said, acknowledging the need to listen and respond to the concerns of party members.
("As I said, we are all here to listen to you about the issues you are facing and what needs to be done.")
Marcos further emphasized the PFP’s strength, stating, "Asahan ninyo, the PFP is the strongest party in the country today. And the PFP — that strong party — is behind you all the way." He concluded his remarks by wishing everyone good luck as they continue their work towards improving the lives of Filipinos.
Joining the president onstage were PFP’s senatorial candidates Senator Francis Tolentino, former DILG Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr., and Manny Pacquiao.
The summit served as a key platform for aligning strategies and re-affirming the party’s commitment to its mission of nation-building as it heads into the 2025 elections.
